An unofficial desktop client for ProtonMail done with electron nativefier. I just did it because I didnt want to open the browser every time I wanted to check my protonmail, I dont like to use Proton Bridge which is buggy and I prefer to access protonmail without an intermediary software while keeping desktop notifications and a dedicated app.
How to install ProtonClient
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With the Windows Package Manager (winget) you can install and update it with: winget install Steccas.ProtonClient
- Open ProtonClient once it finishes installing.
